Thanks to Hachette Audio for posting a seven minute sample from the Tower Lord audiobook as read by the enviably voiced Mr Steven Brand: https://soundcloud.com/hachetteaudiouk/tower-lord-by-anthony-ryan-book-2-of-ravens-shadow
PS. Tower Lord is now only 108 hours away if you live in the US and 124 in the UK, just in case anyone was counting.
Thanks to commenters Adam and Steph for tracking down the thankfully now active Audible.com pre-order page for the US version of Tower Lord: http://www.audible.com/pd/Sci-Fi-Fantasy/Tower-Lord-Audiobook/B00L4IRLG8/ref=a_search_c4_1_3_srTtl?qid=1403229402&sr=1-3. No cover art yet but I assume it’s on its way.
NB. The 73 hour running time must be a typo as Blood Song came in at about 22 hours and whilst Tower Lord is longer, it’s not that much longer.
For those who like their fiction in audio form the pre-order pages for Tower Lord, as read by the inestimable Steven Brand, have now gone up on audible.com and audible.co.uk.
Orbit have now confirmed that the Blood Song audiobook will be available in the UK on 12th June. This will be the same version as the US edition as read by the excellent Steven Brand. I can also confirm that the Tower Lord audiobook will also be released in the UK at the same time as the ebook and hardback. I’m currently awaiting confirmation on the position regarding distribution in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and South Africa and will post an update when I know one way or the other. Many thanks to my UK editor, James Long, and everyone at Orbit for their hard work in making this happen.
