Many thanks to the excellent Steven Brand for his sublime vocals which are a perfect match for Vaelin’s story. His bio reads thusly:
“Steven Brand is a Scottish actor. He made his American screen debut in Universal’s The Scorpion King as Memnon, arch nemesis of Mathayus, played by The Rock. Following the success of his debut, Brand’s work has included the HBO series The Mind of the Married Man, Stephen King’s The Diary of Ellen Rimbauer, CSI, Human Target and more recently starring in the movies Treasure Raiders with David Carradine, Say It in Russian with Faye Dunaway, and XII. Anime fans also know him as the voice of Alexander Anderson from the anime and OVA of Hellsing, as well as the voice of Richard Hellsing in the OVA.”

This is great news, but audible.com is the American site – are there any plans for this to be available on the audible.co.uk site as well? At one time, people in the UK couldn’t order from the US site due to licensing issues, though I don’t know if that is still the case.

No word on a release date on Audible UK yet. I’ll post an update here when I hear anything.

I have also contacted audible.co.uk to ask when / if it will be available, but it does look as though I can purchase it from the US site. Fingers crossed it won’t be long.
I have already read Blood Song as an eBook and it is fantastic, so I am looking forward to listening to it as an audio book.
