‘The Martyr’ – Audiobook Pre-Order and ‘City of Songs Hardcover’ Sale

US and UK audiobook pre-orders for The Martyr – Book Two of The Covenant of Steel – are now live. Check them out here: Audible.comAudible.co.ukApple BooksKoboBarnes & Noble

Buy links for other formats are on the book page.

I also need to let you know that, despite the listed publication date, the audiobook release is likely to be delayed by several weeks. Steven Brand is an in-demand actor and narrator these days so, to avoid switching to another voice, the recording sessions need to be put back to accommodate his schedule. Obviously it would be better for all formats to be published at the same time and I do apologise for this delay. However, both myself and the publisher, felt it was important to continue with Steven as the voice of the series.

In other news, the signed hardcover edition of City of Songs – Volume Three of my novella series The Seven Swords – is currently on sale at the less-than-half price of $15. Available only from the Subterranean Press website.

I don’t know how long this sale will last so act now if you don’t want to miss out on a bargain.

‘Many Are the Dead’ Audiobook Pre-order and Giveaway

The audiobook edition of Many Are the Dead: A Raven’s Shadow Novella, narrated by Steven Brand, will be released by Audible on March 12th. Pre-order here:  Audible.comAudible.co.uk

*(Cover by Kevin Goeke, design by Shawn King)

Description:

“The Faith requires all we have.”

New York Times bestselling author Anthony Ryan returns to the Raven’s Shadow world in this prequel novella set ten years before the events in Blood Song.

For decades the brothers of the Sixth Order have fought a savage war against the Lonak clans amidst the frozen peaks of their Dominion.

When word reaches the north of a fresh outbreak of the dreaded Red Hand, Brother Sollis, the finest swordsman in the Order, leads a small band to a long-abandoned castle in search of a potential cure, but discovers a far greater threat lurking in the mountains.

Enemies become allies as Sollis leads an increasingly desperate fight against an inhuman enemy steeped in the power of the Dark.

“Brilliantly written… Anyone who has read Blood Song will adore this.” – Fantasy Book Review.

“Many Are the Dead is a good treat to gobble up while we wait for the continuation of Vaelin Al Sona’s story.” – Grimdark Magazine.

To celebrate, I’m giving away 10 promo-codes for a free download of the audiobook. Current subscribers to my mailing list are automatically entered. If you’re not a subscriber and want a chance to win a free audiobook, go here to sign up. The winners will be chosen at random and notified on March 12th.

‘The Wolf’s Call’ US Audiobook Pre-Order and ‘Raven’s Shadow’ Reading Order

I was pleased and surprised to find that the pre-order page for the US audiobook edition of The Wolf’s Call is already up on audible.com several months before it usually appears: https://www.audible.com/pd/The-Wolfs-Call-Audiobook/1984890816

Also, with the publication of The Wolf’s Call due in July, some people have been asking about the best reading order for the Raven’s Shadow series. To date, the series consists of three full-length novels, three novellas and one short story. As the novellas contain some mild spoilers for the novels, I’d recommend reading in the following order:

Blood Song

Tower Lord

Queen of Fire

The Lord Collector

A Duel of Evils

The Lady of Crows

Many Are the Dead

However, here’s the reading order if you want to follow the strict chronology of the overall narrative:

A Duel of Evils

Many Are the Dead

Blood Song

The Lord Collector

The Lady of Crows

Tower Lord

Queen of Fire

Check out the books page for where to buy.
