Your book was a suggestion on Kindle. I decided to take a chance.
I am halfway through Tower Lord now.
    Sir.
I didn’t think there was much good, original fantasy left.
You have . . . restored my faith in the genre’s potential.
Outstanding work. A refreshing, simplistic yet rich writing style. Engaging characters. A complex but gripping story.
    Well done. Oh, well done.
Thank you for this. I eagerly await anything else you write in this vein. Queen of Fire will be mine the instant it hits the market. And I will devour it, savouring it page by page, as I have its previous two brothers.
I can’t tell you how much I look forward to it. So I won’t try.
Thank you again, and KEEP WRITING!

Hello. My name is Leah. I am currently writing a book and am interested in your story. I recently purchased “Tower Lord” and noticed that is is similar to the style in which I write. Or, at least, re level that I want to write at. (Don’t judge my writing by my social style, this is not how I write) I recently submitted a short story for review. I would think it amazing if you could take the time that I’m sure you have little of to respond. I am a new author, though not published as of now, as I know you are fairly new. Hopefully this does not sound too cleche, for I am young and seems many things that come out of my mouth are cleche, but Why not grow in popularity with someone with like styles of writing? I could learn a lot from you. I love the way you write and I’ve only read a few pages.

May your words pierce the hearts of many with a glorious flaming trail.

    Sincerely,
Leah. An aspiring author And admirer of the arts

      Hi Leah,
Thanks for the kind words. When it comes to writing advice I tend to fall back on the clichés: write every day and read a lot. That being said there are some resources which can help a lot. I’d recommend Stephen King’s ‘On Writing’ as a good general guide to writing fiction. Also the following podcasts are definitely worth a listen, all findable on iTunes or Google:
      Writing Excuses
      I Should Be Writing
      Scrivener Soapbox

Best of luck with it all and remember it’s a marathon not a sprint.
      Anthony

Thank you. That is one thing I have realized. I can’t force myself o write my book. If I don’t have an idea, I have to stew about it and one day randomly when I’m eating my breakfast or doing any normal task I’m like YES and I am golden. Thank you again for the support and time taken to respond
